Duality

Duality” is about finding balance in chaotic situations, which is a core tenant of my yoga and meditation practice. The iguana is a beautiful, peaceful creature that I’ve always admired for its ability to be present. While many other creatures seek, hunt, hide, and roam, the iguana is often seen basking in the sun, enjoying the breeze, and cooling off in the water. I was deeply saddened to learn that although iguanas among the most endangered animals, many are considered “pests” for simply digging near where humans live and killed in regions like Florida. Iguana meat is also illegally sold and consumed in the Americas, fueling the underground exotic meat industry. A portion of my print sales will be donated to protect iguanas threatened in the United States.
